Thanks Rob. This may be related to some PTFs that IBM is having me help with a beta test on. While the ones I'm ordering are not test PTFs I'm guessing some of the prereq/coreqs might be.

As to the Portal, don't get me started. All I can say is YUCK, that thing is awful. That's another thread altogether and not one I'll choose to participate in beyond my current sentiment.

I just used Fix Central to download a PTF I already had but do it to my
PC. Just to test for you. It worked. The only difficulty I had is that
my old book mark acted strange. It kind of got me to Fix Central but had
some strange stuff when I started trying to proceed. I clicked on Fix
Central on the left and started from there and it worked ok.

Where are you starting out from? I start out from
http://www-933.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/
which is what "Fix Central" on the left takes me to.

I do everything in my power to avoid that "portal". It's confusing and
has no clue how to get to anything of use.

I am trying to order 16 individual PTFs and after the authentication step the web site comes back as: "can't find the server at scwebtestt.rchland.ibm.com." I'm guessing the "scwebtestt" part might not be correct. Is it me or?
