The actual job user, not any adopted authority, right? IFS ignores adopted authority. You either have to run under that user, or use the profile handle APIs.

Subject: Problem with QSH command that is sending me UP the wall
Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi everyone
I have a CL program that executes the command
QSH CMD(&LSCOMMAND)

Where &LSCOMMAND is built using different variables.
Using STRDBG on the CL program I have determined the &LSCOMMAND contains
the following value

ls /weborders/HB*.txt >/qsys.lib/hbmofa.lib/webordifs.file/webordifs.mbr

Which means list all files beginning with HB, ending in .txt in the ifs
directory weborders into the file (HBMOFA)WEBORDIFS

This results in the response QSH0005 with reason code 2, which according
to my search means
Folder does not exist or do not have authority to folder

Now here comes the kickers
This WAS working fine ALL morning, yesterday, the last 2 weeks.
I have double-checked and the weborders ifs directory DEFINITELY contains
such files.
Now kicker number 2.
When I run the EXACT same command using QSH on the command line (prompting
QSH and pasting the above command) it works. Using my own profile, it
works. Using the profile my job is running under - it works.
Anyone any ideas, because like the subject line says, this is sending me
UP the wall

As always, any and all responses gratefully accepted
