Wow! What a coincidence! I'm amazed that each of those categories amounts
to exactly - or even roughly - 10% of the people! Phenomenal find, Jeff!

1 in 6 of the world's population?

Exclude 10%, the youngest people who shouldn't be using Computers and
Facebook yet anyway
(my nephew drew an anti-body in crayon on his very first day at
school, he'd seen it on his dad's laptop - let's hope that was all)

Exclude 10%, the oldest people who probably consider computer's 'new-
fangled' contraptions, and the internet as some kind of string-vest
undergarment
(do you remember string-vests?)

Exclude 10%, those who live in areas of the world without an internet
connection and wonder what on earth all our technology is for
(come the day of the EM pulse from a nearby supernova, and all
our electronics are fried, the answer will be 'scrap')

Exclude 10%, those who live below the poverty-line and can't afford a
computer and internet connection
( Sadly, I rather suspect that this value is lower that the real
figure)

Exclude 10%, those who are religious (small 'r') techno-phobes and who
even hate electric lights
(This could be me, but I hate b****y candles and candle-sticks
cluttering up the lounge)

The 1 in 6 is now 2 in 6 ...

Exclude 10%, those who have had Facebook, Friends Re-United,
Twitter ....
accounts etc, preferred real-life and real relationships, didn't real
cope with the fact that they were being told they had 5000+ friends but
only posted 30 Christmas Cards each year - and de-registered

Exclude 10%, those who have never quite got around to 'e-Social
Networking'
because they have real lives, friends are are actually quite busy
enough thank you

Exclude 10%, those who prefer to watch TV soap opera, reality (ha!)
shows, game shows; i.e entertainment that requires a keyboard of a
smaller kind and a more comfortable chair

Exclude 10%, those who hate everyone they know and come into contact
with them far too often already

Excluse 10%, those who have a Facebook account and pretend to use it,
but whose friends fall into one of the previous categories and are
never on-line anyway.

Oops that's 100% ! Therefore, statistically speaking, no-one uses
Facebook at all, so if you are using it, you must be no-body.

Facebook has a little less than 1 billion users. That's a pretty

largest country on the planet.

But, even so, it means that 5/6 of the world are not using it.

perhaps I'm the only one on the list not a registered Facebook user.

This is the 2nd survey in 2 days I tried to respond to that was
users FB only..

1st it was a security requirement of a customer to not have
connections to social sites...
Later my kids said "Nooooooooo!".
I guess FB has become the one & only...
