Rob, are you sure about the limitation to a hard-coded library? I believe you can specify each or any of the files on the RUNQRY command, and those will be used in the respective positions of even JOIN types.

At least I hope this works - I've run queries that were part of iDoctor, and they were hard-coded to some library at IBM Rochester - but they ran on any system, over your own resources, as I recall.
