Fishing? :)

I've been in earthquakes, including the one in SFO in 1989. I'll take a

We've been here 5 years now, and we've enjoyed it immensely. Of course,
we're halfway between Austin and San Antonio, so we don't have to deal with
the traffic in either Houston or Dallas.

I can be trout fishing in 15 minutes. Going for redfish or speckled trout
takes 2.5 hours. What's not to like?

Hmmmm....

Moving from California to Texas...

Moving from one state with no water to another state with no water and
higher temperatures-- plus hurricanes (in selected areas).

Yep. A real good idea! Of course, you leave the earthquakes behind.
