I wonder if, sometimes, these reports are automatically generated; i.e., not
reported by a human. For example, I have four email accounts with my ISP,
and the ISP is pretty good about catching spam and putting it into a
separate folder which I can go into via web mail but they don't get
delivered unless I tell the ISP that such-and-such is not spam. I don't
know for a fact if they file reports, but I tend to doubt it.

I just checked this email account and it had two emails in the spam folder
from Linkedin, but no problem getting any emails from LI.

But some ISPs might be more aggressive and blacklist.

That's how I took it and I agree completely!

Even more ironic is the fact that the folks reporting this as spam are on a
tech list and can't read the note on how to unsubscribe and follow the
directions; I pity their companies...

I think Gqcy's point is that a lot of spam /originates/ from Yahoo.com.
So it's ironic that they'd be blocking Midrange.com's e-mails.
