In my "IBM i Access for Windows Properties" I see:
Version 7 Release 1 Mod level 0 Service level SI41054

I guess your "new Java based 5250" is the July 2012 technology preview?
I checked my "User's Guide" for "menu bar" and did not find much,
it documents the MS Excel add-in for data transfer,
so I guess your copy may not help either.
Maybe check your "What's new" ?
Curious to know how this turns out.

That's what I was talking about. When I click there all I have are:
restore, move, size, minimize, maximize, close

Maybe right-click the very top of the window (the "title bar"?), then
select "Show Menu Bar"?

In the new Java based 5250 one of my sessions lost it's menu bar. File,
Edit, View, etc. In the old one I would click on the upper left and just
turn it back on again. I don't see that here. How do I do this?
