Let's say I order PTF on media and I get an email with this
PRTY = 1
COERVER = 34-STATUS
SOURCE = HSB
COERNBR = H79988353
CNTYNBR = 000
FRMNODE = BLDISDMC
FRMUSER = R370ACK
SHPDATE = 20120821210050
TEXT = Fix data will be mailed on Optical media.
TEXT = Package contained 1348 fixes with 14,030,290 Kilo-bytes of dat
TEXT = Total amount of data shipped was 5,610,771 Kilo-bytes
TEXT = Package shipped on 005 Optical volume(s)
TEXT = SDF Order# B1374236 was Shipped at 11:43:39 08/21/2012
NBRDATA = 0014
Then I want to track that order. So I go to IBM.com and at the upper
right I search on track an order and I get this
http://www.ibm.com/link/www5_software_ibm_com.html
Software fixes (PTFs)
For software fixes (PTFs)
by CCSS order number (7 characters e.g. '1234567')
by COER number (1-9 characters e.g. '123456789')
by PMR number, 11 characters e.g. 'XXXXXYYYZZZ' (XXXXX=problemnumber,
YYY=Branchoffice number, ZZZ=Country number)
E-mail: CCSS - Common Connected Service System
Telephone: 00 353 1 8155280 (support in English available 24/7)
Really? I have to call a phone number to track an order? This is for
real?
