We recycle TONs of old IBM gear and other servers and PCs as well. The
one thing we don't touch: PRINTERS. Why? Too dad-gum many itty bitty
parts and fasteners and they don't standardize on ANY thing. But you
gotta tear them completely down to get any money for the stuff so the
time element just kills you. We can take a 5094 for example and turn it
into 100% recycle ready parts in about an hour. Even a 620 or 720 system
unit takes about 90 minutes. A printer like that is many hours for less
total recycle value.

I must agree with others that you will be searching for a place to leave
it, unless you get lucky and someone wants it for parts but I for one am
seeing near zero line printers still in use.
