Don't think that applies. Something to check.

I am also wondering about the number of vertual devices assigned to
controllers. We have 7 virtual device controllers. Just hand counted
one, and it has over 200 on it. Some quantity are dead.

Is there an *easy* way to get a list of the number of devices assigned
to each controller?

This morning, so far, three workstations quit.

Turn off the computers. Vary the devd off. Locks still held by
QSYSARB and the interactive subsystem. One DEVD still retained the IP
address.

Delete DEVD, recreate. User still gets message that device is unavailable.

Any suggestions?
