Booth thanks for you suggestion. I changed it to COLOR WHITE, but it still
loses it's color when F11 is pressed. Strange. I've seen a lot of strange
things with display files since upgrading to V7R1. I suspecting that we
may need some PTFs.

It's just hardcoded in the control field. A title descripton for the

I don't know why I use HIGHLIGHT versus color WHITE. Just what I've
always done.

Not to be a wiseguy, but if they are always highlighted, why not just
mark them as COLOR(WHT) and be done with it??

But to answer your issue: I am not sure where or what the constant
fields are? Are they in the control format, like a title? Or are they
variable field that hold a constant value, like a column heading? (I do
that on sortable subfiles so the user will know what column is the
sorting column.)

well, I knew that Reset Indicators was turning off HomeKey, So I was

it.

Not sure why, but I removed the Reset indicators and removed the two
lines
you mentioned, and it all works as designed... something with that reset
was screwing it up.

But I still have one issue. Pressing F11 to expand the subfile record
is
still removing the highlighting of two constant fields.
