It's just hardcoded in the control field. A title descripton for the
filter field.
I don't know why I use HIGHLIGHT versus color WHITE. Just what I've
always done.

But to answer your issue: I am not sure where or what the constant
fields are? Are they in the control format, like a title? Or are they
variable field that hold a constant value, like a column heading? (I do
that on sortable subfiles so the user will know what column is the
sorting column.)

Not sure why, but I removed the Reset indicators and removed the two
you mentioned, and it all works as designed... something with that resetis
was screwing it up.
But I still have one issue. Pressing F11 to expand the subfile record
still removing the highlighting of two constant fields.
