Sounds like you're importing the Certificate Authorities, not the
certificates themselves.

The Certificate Authorities (CAs) are the entities that sign the
certificate. When you import these, you're saying "trust certificates
signed by these CAs".

You'll use Digital Certificate Manager (DCM) to import them. Here's a

Feel free to contact me offline for any help. I too think the SSL
business on the AS/400 is not only confusing but cumbersome. And the
terminology for both client and server applications gets confusing as
well.

But I've worked with it enough in the past few years to feel pretty
comfortable with it. :)
