4=Delete
Deletes the PTF group information. This does not delete or
remove any PTFs or related PTF groups defined in the PTF group.

A tangent is when someone tells me to put on a group ptf to try to fix
something. I have a tendacy to ask "what ptf in that group is supposed to
fix the issue?". I like to be able to pinpoint a ptf cover letter or apar
which addresses my issue. Not a "take two aspirin and call me in the
morning" suggestion - especially when an IPL and downtime are involved.

The issue I am dealing with suggests removing this group ptf, jump through
some hoops, and put it (or, better yet, the newer one) back on. Ok,
that's talking downtime. If however, they could tell me remove ptf
such-and-such which was part of that group I may be able to avoid the
downtime. Maybe not. Because it will probably have as part of it's
instruction "do a WRKJVMJOB and kill them all" which would pretty much
toast my system - including many 5250 users.

One more reason NOT to apply any ptf permanently until right before the
next quarter when you get ready to put on more ptf's.
