Use JDE 'Hidden Selection' number 40 on any JDE menu...
This will cause the JDE 'File Fields Description' window to pop up, which
allows you to enter the file name and library name.
If you then press <Enter>, it will show the list of fields in the file,
along with their descriptions and attributes. While viewing the information
for a file, you can enter '2' into the selection option field for the file
fields and view the JDE Data Dictionary information.

names (together with their real names/synonyms ) in AS/400 ISeries?
Through AS/400 Operations Navigator? or through any other supplemental
tools?

*GLLT......Ledger Type*
*GLDCT........Document Type*
*GLDOC........Document Number*
Maybe it's one of the minor issues for most of you (IBM experts), however a
major question for such non-technical persons like me :)
