I would not suggest ordering all cumes and groups along with the group
containing Technology Refresh MF99004. Make sure you order/load/apply/ipl
that one separately. Been about a decade since I last blew the Link
Loader and had to slip the lic. Of course, you can get this done on 3
lpars on one box, on 4 lpars on another box, but just try it on your main
production lpar and Murphy strikes.

Of course it would help if we could get a good backup on this machine. Yes
we Mimix to another box and just back up the backup box nightly. But once
a quarter we bring the machine down and do a full system save. NEVER get
through that without having to call IBM in to replace one or multiple
parts of 2844/571A/cable/3573LTO3 scsi HH drive. Not exaggerating on the
NEVER.

Another reason we're looking at going from this to fiber LTO5's. Figure
that will replace EVERYTHING! Heck even upgrade to Power 7 to get a new
backplane.
