The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I've been asked to set up an export on NSF. When the server tries to
access
it it says to the effect that the iSeries doesn't support NSF version 3
over TCP, and it looks like (via netstat) that nsf is running under UDP.
Can you give us the exact message about "doesn't support (NFS? - DL) NSF
version 3 over TCP" instead of what it says "in effect?" Oh, and while you
are at it, please tell us what "it says" means in your context below.
But the direct answer to the stated question: No. You cannot cause an
application to use a protocol different from the one that's designed within.
Well, that is unless that application has switches/flags to cause it to do
so.
Thanks
