Yeah, when you asked this question about a month and a half ago, a
whole bunch of people responded.

My suggestion then was to try REXX (instead of CL). [I see that Chuck
has mentioned that option in this thread as well.] At that time, you
seemed intrigued, but apparently not enough to give it a shot.

I don't know of any super-simple REXX tutorials, especially not
specifically focused on SQL. There certainly might be some.
Personally, for IBM stuff I tend to go straight to the official
manuals, and so far that is all I have read about REXX:
