That and 20+ years of going to the conferences and only missing 2 in that time.

Jim Slone, John Sears, and others used to hang out a CUDS and really talk about the systems. We learned more at CUDS than we did at the session themselves often times. (CUDS = COMMON User Discussion Session. Always held after dinner where everyone gathered to talk about the day and tech stuff) It's now called Power Down events.
