Depending on what you're using for conversion and email, there are a
few options I can think of.

After each report, convert it and save the name of the PDF file. Then
call your email program with all 3 (or more) attachments.

Or there are "Batch" commands that can be used to select spooled files
for example in my SPLTOOL software. You could give each spooled file
in a run a unique user data, then use that as the selection criteria
to convert them all and email them off.

But, without some way to uniquely identify all 3, you may be out of
luck unless you want to do some programming with APIs (like you
mentioned).

You can skip the SPLFs and write directly to PDFs (at least at v6r1m0 you can):

OVRPRTF FILE(print-file) DEVTYPE(*AFPDS) WSCST(*PDF) TOSTMF('/usr/local/pdfs/my-pdf-file.pdf')

CALL PGM(myrpgpgm)

DLTOVR FILE(print-file)

This -does- work with overlays!  At least, full-page overlays:

OVRPRTF FILE(print-file) TOFILE(afp-capable-file) DEVTYPE(*AFPDS) FRONTOVL(overlaylib/overlay) USRDTA('YourTextHere') TOSTMF('my-pdf-file.pdf') WSCST(*PDF) etc. etc.

This requires no changes to your program(s), just a CLP 'wrapper' around the process.  It does do away with an iSeries spooled file, however.
