With *AFP commands in an external printer file, I can only print to within ½" of edge of page - ie there is always ½" margin around every 8.5x11 report.
Same when printing an overlay THRU THE EXTERNAL PRINTER FILE - the report always has ½" margin on the top & left.
Why oh why can OVRPRTF FRONTOVL(boxes) print to within 0.2" of edge - on the same printer? (same overlay also).
What is so special about OVRPRTF FRONTOVL(overName) - that it can print so close to edge?
Can I do whatever this command does in my pgm to get to within .2" of the page???
I thought that maybe FRONTMGN(*DEVD) would do the trick, but it has no effect on the PRINTER FILE overlay - still prints with ½" margin.
Thanks!
