Place a "call GetCurrTime" in each pgm required.

Create a CL or RPG named GetCurrTime which simply does a RTVSYSVAL QTIME and pass that value back to your pgm.

For testing, make a NEW version of GetCurrTime that returns a specific value.

While your at it, get the date too (so you can change that too!) Make sure you get the sys date, not the job date.

Not pretty, but it works!

Subject: How do I change the time in a job?

I have a need to change the job time. I am testing some programs that are
time sensitive and I do not have a month of Sundays to wait for the
appropriate time to do the testing. It would be nice if CHGJOB did it.

As the time is needed in multiple programs, changing in debug is not
practical.

TIA
