The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
OK, OK maybe it will make it to V9R1M2 :-)
I'm basing my comments on reality.
I had a discussion with IBM last year in regards to bringing the SAMBA client natively to the i and it went like this.
That's a great idea, we'll research it. No response and so we continue to support our own code to accomplish this because our customers need solutions now.
I'm not a naysayer, just a realist who's been working this platform since 1988. People need solutions today, not in 2020, except for you. You can wait for the new AFP keyword to be introduced :-)
Honestly if you don't have a need for 3rd party products, then you are a lucky man or have a very skilled team who likes to tinker.
For the rest of the world who doesn't have time, 3rd party products such are the smart answer :-)

I guess it's better to be a naysayer than to try to do something
constructive. Or were your comments intended to wear people down so they
buy your product?
