I think there is something in the archives. I did find the following via google search "oracle database connector iseries"

http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15586_01/integrate.1111/e12644/db2.htm

hope it helps.

All,

Running Business Objects (BO) on AIX using Oracle DB.

Need to configure an ODBC driver BO can use to connect to the iSeries.

First off, which ODBC driver? IBM only provides Windows/Linux ODBC
drivers for connection to the iSeries.

Secondly, given the right ODBC driver, does anybody have an example
.odbc.ini file showing a connection to an iSeries?

(And Trevor before you hammer me, yes it actually is an iSeries..says
so on the box! :)

Thanks!
Charles
