Fantastic! Have fun with this, Mike, and let me know if there are any issues.

And now that a few people are starting to use the tool, maybe we can get some conversation going in EGL-L.

Joe

I do that, and get this:

Unable to locate JAR/zip in file system as specified by the driver
definition: jt400.jar.

I've placed a copy of jt400.jar (man, I have tons of jt400.jar files
on my PC), in my workspace, and I've tried to point to it in the
driver definition screen.

Mike: I see your message - where did you get an updated copy of jt400.jar?

Open the Database Development view. Right click on the Database
Connections, select New. Create a DB2 for i5/OS connection. It will
want a driver, but your dropdown will probably be empty. To the right
of the driver dropdown is a tool button to create a new one. Do that.

I'm also having a problem with the connection profile. I get an empty
box when I try to Specify a Driver and Connection Details. I assume I
want to specify an i server here using the Toolbox driver.

Joe,
I have been wanting to look at EGL, but I can't seem to find many examples/tutorials. I saw your article from the link below and thought I would give it a try. I am unable to create a connection profile.
I receive the following errors.

I was wondering if you might have any idea whats happening.
