I just got a sample file from a customer, in which there are weird values in zoned decimal fields:

The high-order nybble of the low-order digit, rather than being an F, to indicate a positive number, or a D, to indicate a negative number, is a C.

I'm frankly surprised that it's not throwing DD errors all over the place.

Has anybody ever heard of such a thing?
