I think the OP said purchasing was not an option. Hopefully that was
based on management first calling Robot and getting shell shocked by their
prices. There are more reasonable options out there.

We too, use Bytware and it's good. And you're right, notification is just
a piece. We used to use LXI Page but we dumped them because their system
would lock up when comm would drop with a major paging company. They felt
it was better to point fingers at the paging company than to put error
recovery in their programs.

Would be nice if they posted the price. I guess you can look at this a
few ways.
1 - Only a fool pays list. We just have that so we can charge you yearly
maintenance as a percentage of list.
2 - If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
3 - You're too stupid to figure out the complicated pricing on your own
and you need to talk to a rep.
4 - They believe their sales people's vocal charm can sell ice cubes to
Eskimo's.
I do not mean to ding the customer, I just like to see the price.
