Wouldn't you do better transferring in batch? Drive from AS/400 side and
bulk import into SQL Server?
I guess I would have to ask... would I ??
Before I can crank up a project like that I would need some assurrance the
i to sql server pipe (over same ethernet backbone) is faster than the sql
server
"select into" script.
They have not implemented any "block insert" function (prob need to update
the OLE provider).
