If I generate a spool file by doing:
dspjob output(*print)
and then do
DSPSPLF FILE(QPDSPJOB) JOB(552265/ROB/ROBS1) SPLNBR(55)
notice the high spool number I gave it? I do NOT get
CPF3344 - File &1 number &8 no longer in the system.
instead I get
CPF3303 - File QPDSPJOB not found in job 552265/ROB/ROBS1.
let me delete this spool file and try
DSPSPLF FILE(QPDSPJOB) JOB(552265/ROB/ROBS1) SPLNBR(2)
I changed the spool file number from the bogus 55 to the real 2. Now I
get
CPF3344 - File QPDSPJOB number 2 no longer in the system.
This may be telling us you have a 'compound' problem. Not only is that
spool number high, but either the spool file is being deleted, or, it's
returning you the wrong error message.

Subject: SEU error when pulling up complile spool file listing
Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx
We have started receiving CPF3344 when we try to browse a spool file
compile listing.
"File OERTNSIPT number 1077952576 no longer in the system." When we select
*LAST and the actual spool number is 1
Browse/copy spool file . . . . OERTNSIPT
Job . . . . . . . . . . . . . OERTNSIPT
User . . . . . . . . . . . CHRISB
Job number . . . . . . . . *LAST
Spool number . . . . . . . . *LAST
Anyone else have this error at V6R1. We just installed the latest set of
groups Nothing on Fix Central for CPF3344 at V6R1.
