Yes, weird - only first page of the *first* print (in a batch of five) is bad.
i am at the customers the next days to find a rule... maybe the Ricoh printers
have some other issues.
At the moment i kill some trees by printing the first document twice, 98% chance
the second try hits the goal :)

No idea, that's not the problem I'm having.
If it's not software (drivers, ptfs, etc) related, the only thing I can think of to fix would be to print a blank page first - kill a tree
- not a good solution, but...
