From the _Host_ partition, what you should see is something like:

In this example I61HOST is hosting i71BASE with 6 storage spaces 
assigned to it.

A "5" in the option field will show the detail for the storage space:

So now you know how big the storage space is (in this case 1Gb)  and how 
many there are.

This specific system has eight different LPARs it is hosing.  Mostly IBM 
i, but also AIX and Linux.

This mail is coming to you from a Linux partition hosted on IBM i.......
