The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

. . . QShell switches back to 5250 mode . . .
Uh, it's never *not* in "5250 mode." It's never even simulating a "glass
teletype" (the 5250 data stream has some poorly-documented, largely
forgotten, "WP-mode" features that might allow for a pretty faithful
simulation of, say, a VT100 or ADM-1) and it's much more 5250-idiomatic
than the screen you see when a C program does puts/gets/printf in a
terminal session.
What it switches into when entering QShell is something (not sure if
it's a display file, a panel group, or a user-defined data stream)
that's visually not all that different from what you get when you "CALL
QCMD" (same parenthetical note applies), except that it uses 132-column
mode, if available. And what it switches back on exiting QShell, it
simply switches back to whatever display file record, panel group panel,
or user-defined data stream you were in when you entered QShell.
