That won't handle the last 32 password rule. Or the rules about previous
character positions. We used to have users who changed their password
from
USER01
to
USER02
and keep incrementing.
Now the clever ones record macros to change it 32 times back to their old
password. (He left pre 1997). I think there's an attribute to only allow
them to change their password so often. That helps to combat this. (or
was that just in Windows?).
