Your free to use PASE so long as you have lickey for the OS.
On WDS I am not sure, I would think a valid lickey for it would cover all
the options.
Other products related to SS1 might be a la'carte and require a license as
well.

I'm not after the additional products, but for example, WDS has what,
30 options? are all of them licensed with the 5050 option? that's what
i cant grasp, besides i think that some things like PASE (which is
option 33 if memory serves right) are free to use...
So, taking DrFranken's list, could i assume that those option not
there are in theory included in the base OS?

SS1 options that are licensed:

5050 is the O/S itself.
5051 is the number processors licensed.
5103 is Media and Storage Extensions (SS1 option 18)
5112 is PSF for IBM i (1-55 IPM) (SS1 option 36)
5113 is pSF for IBM i (1-100 IPM) (SS1 option 37)
5114 is PSF for IBM i (Unlimited IPM) (SS1 option 38)
5116 is HA Switchable Resources (SS1 option 41)
5117 is HA Journal Performance (SS1 option 42)

Additional products you pay money for and are not on base media:
Option 23 - Opticonnect
Option 26 - DB2 SMP
Option 27 - DB2 Multisystem
Option 44 - Encrypted Backup Enablement
Option 45 - Encrypted ASP Enablement

Hope that helps!!

I'm reinstalling a 9406-800, i have restored a lib with the keys for
v5r2 which has the keys for:
AF1 5050
PT1 5050& 5101
QU1 5050
SS1 5050
SS1 5112
ST1 5050
WDS 5050
XW1 5101

My doubt is, SS1 has a LOT of options, how can i translate option 5050
and 5112 to those options in the go licpgm, option 11 install lic pgm?
I want to install the programs that are licensed and those that
require no license.
I could just install all and whatever keeps working after 70 days is
what works, but i'd rather do it the right way...
