Initiating a data queue or populating a data area come to mind. Have a NEP

Also, copy / FTP to a folder on the system and have a program looking for
new files.

I am looking for a way to know when a file is ready to be uploaded to the
iSeries. What is a good way to signal to the iSeries that a file is set to
be uploaded from the IFS?

We have an Excel file that has a macro that extracts data to a .CSV file.
When the .csv file has been extracted I would like to kick off an iSeries
process to upload the file.

Thanks in advance.
