That's what I thought. Can you give me any details, as another group
handles MIMIX and it seems my chances are better if I can communicate to
them the exact change.

Yes but Mimix replaces your startup program and you have to customize
their startup program for your system. It is a set of programs that
start your system as primary or secondary system. Buried in these
programs Mimix subsystem starts and controls their journals. In the
section that you customize to start your production subsystems and
servers is where you need to add the necessary code to start the remote
journaling for your non-Mimix environment.
