As I could not get passed the dreaded SRC code, I put the drives back and
restarted. The system saw the drives. I was able to rebuild the RAID set (1
only).
The system automagically added the "good" drive and excluded the failed
drive. However.
The 8th drive appears to be bad too. It shows up but the I/O on that unit is
almost nonexistent, like the system is ignoring it. I am going to remove it
from the RAID set and try to take it out of the machine.
The menu options don't follow most of the suggestions and I am not sure why.
I am at V5.4. I can only remove the drives from RAID in DST.
Does anyone have suggestions? I am going to try and uninstall the bad drive.
