Re: method to let user reset their own password

Set up a web page on the iSeries, perhaps using a special port. Allow
the user to reset the password or create a new (onetime) password,
which is sent in an email. Log all acttivity, including the IP address
of the person.

Prior to TIM we used a custom command called RESETU for the help desk to
do that.

You could also easily create a program which adopts the security officer's

authority to allow another user to enable a disabled profile.
