The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

. . . could you explain your rationale for using a Google service as

Actually, we *do* have something analogous to a calendar built in to the
application.
The problem is that *customers* want integration with Google Calendar.
Among other things, they want, when "scheduling an activity" for a user,
to be able to automatically check that user's Google Calendar for conflicts.
At this point, incidentally, I've successfully accessed a calendar via
HTTPAPI, and am in the process of parsing the JSON data stream returned.
But I'm only doing it with a test calendar I've created, and only using
"Magic Cookie" authentication. This part is proving, so far, to be
"almost too easy."
