I could end journaling after the restore, but...

Mimix has a remote journal attached to the production journal and I believe the system is sending all the TESTLIB journal records across to the backup machine, where Mimix ignores them. I really don't want to transmit that data.

There must be a way to restore a library to a different library without starting journaling.

I'll take a look at Chuck's suggestion to see if QDFTJRN has a "don't journal" setting. (Though the STRJNLIB command leads me to to think that QDFTJRN may be on the way out.)
