IBM was doing some 'significant maintenance' this weekend which they said would make some things completely unavailable shat could certainly be the problem with speed this weekend. Personally I downloaded the latest 7.1 Cume and Technology Group 3 as well as the updates to the HMC for 7.7.3.0 at normal speed (which for me is only 3.0Mb) on Friday night, but as usual YMMV.

Over the same link, I'm sending the discs to my other system in less than 7 minutes each. 7*19=133 or 2 hours 13 minutes. I can live with that. I would have had everything Friday night at that speed.
