6321 is a CD-ROM...

You'd need DVD-RAM to write optical disks...an note that DVD-RAM is
not the same as the CD/DVD-RW you are used to in your PC.

DVD-RAM on the iSeries is very, very, very slow to write too. I had
one at a prior employer, and it was slower than the 3570 tape we also
had...though not by much :)

Can I save a file or any other object straight to the optical drive from
within a CL or a QShell command?
