As with any webfacing product, the main gotcha I hear about is the additional overhead and latency that most users won't tolerate. I get the impression that thousands of licenses are sold for webfacing products that never get used for any length of time, or perhaps only 5% of users will use them.
I think we've reached the point where more organization should bite the bullet and rewrite their applications to improve their overall navigation, work flow, and functionality rather than muddy the waters with these low pain, but low to negative gain GUI facing solutions.
You were probably only asking about configuration gotchas. Sorry if this is too much of an opinion piece. I'd be interested in hearing how your experience turns out, if you're not under a gag order.
