Just trying to understand your frame of reference... Are you using BRMS?
Are you using networked BRMS?

1 - I do not think that you would want to replicate BRMS data using
software like Mimix. Let's say you have PRIMARY and SECONDARY. If you
replicated the BRMS information from PRIMARY to SECONDARY it would copy
over the BRMS data on SECONDARY. Thus you wouldn't be able to see what
you saved off of SECONDARY. If you are using networked BRMS it would just
send selected entries from selected tables to the other systems.

2 - Let's say I have a machine in one location with lpar's: PROD, DEV,
OTHER. Domino data from PROD gets replicated using Domino to Domino
servers on lpar DOMINO2 on your backup box. Other data from PROD gets
replicated from PROD to PRODBACK on your backup box using Mimix. Domino
data from DEV gets replicated to DOMINO2 using Domino. Other data from
DEV gets replicated to DEVBACK using Mimix. Domino data gets replicated
from OTHER using Domino to DOMINO2.
Domino replication only replicates "data" files (.nsf's) and templates
(.ntf's). Leaving stuff like all your html files, .log files and whatnot.
Let's say I currently only back OTHER up directly 4-6 times a year. Mimix
is not set up on OTHER. And I don't have an OTHERBACK lpar anyway. If I
can set up BRMS to back some of this data of concern to virtual, get it
over to an lpar with physical tape I can have backup's that way.
