Rob,

Given that you are running a multiple LPAR system, with Domino, application replication, and probably things I can't remember you talking about, I would be shocked if you were not ready for the exam now.

Check out the minimally qualified candidate:

"The successful candidate has 12-24 months or more experience performing a variety of networking and daily system management tasks. This person can, without assistance, install IBM i and configure a system, understand and manage LPAR and basic virtualization technologies (including VIO), manage IBM i and system updates and fixes, manage internal storage, networking, and system security. An IBM i administrator can design and maintain backup and recovery plans, and direct system recoveries. He or she can analyze systems and tune them for better performance."

I've seen you answer questions for folks on this list for most of those topics. VIO is virtual I/O not necessarily VIOS. (I don't really know but I'm guessing VIOS was to obscure for this test at V6R1, remember when it would have been written)

My goal: To get IBM admin certified for the least amount of money.
Education has to be geared towards achieving that.
