Howdy folks,
I’m thinking the subject says it all, but we are trying to do a file
transfer from an iSeries system down to a PC. We are also (goes
without saying) converting ebcdic to ascii. The data contains packed
fields and this fact seems to have eliminated some of our first
attempts using FTP2 from Taatools and also SecureZip from PKWare.
We have been successful using file transfer (Client Access)
interactively. We now would like to test this file transfer as a batch
job. We would like to run the batch job on a server and pull the file
down.

Thanks, Larry
