Our RPG2SQL tool can work nicely as Vern mentioned.
Also the Lotus Domino NTSO Java API works well from Java to talk to a Domino database.
We used to use the C API's, but they are flakey.

I dug around a bit - apparently this is no longer a JDBC provider for
notes - the last one was a type 2 and required windows.
But there is a notes.jar that purports to do what you need - here is the

Maybe one can make java calls into this from RPG, as we see with other
stuff like POI and all.
