I forgot to mention, if the exit point program crashes or takes too long (I forget details on the timing) it is basically ignored. I had a bug early on (well, IBM did ;) ) that caused my program to crash, and it took me a while to figure out why I wasn't getting my log. It didn't stop me from getting a signon screen, though.

Also, the log file is kept open unless you do something to kill performance (like FEOD), so you won't see log entries until the telnet server is stopped.

One word of caution - when you attach the exit program to the exit point,
all future Telnet connections will be regulated by this exit program - so
if it has a bug, no one will be able to make a new connection. Therefore,
when testing, have aan active connection (or 5) that you can use to
unregister the exit point just in case. (Just some been there done that
advice.)
