I have not seen any suggestion about using iNav's "Generate SQL..." function
in the Database tab. Did I miss something that would preclude its use?

Ted Holt did a simple example a few years ago - here's that link, which
does work - http://www.itjungle.com/mgo/mgo060502-story01.html
The API provides lots of settings you can use - to fully implement it,
one should probably add command parameters for those items. In fact, Ted
only specifies the name and library of PF and the destination source
file. But it's a good start.
The API includes the following settings that can be parameterized -
Severity level
Replace option
Statement formatting option
Date format
Date separator
Time format
Time separator
Naming option
Decimal point
Standards option
Drop option
Message level
Comment option
Label option
Header option
Trigger option
Constraint option
System name option
Check the doc at http://tinyurl.com/qsqgnddl-doc-htm for explanations of
these options.
