Unfortunately, by the time a user gets done creating a password with upper- and lower-case letters, numerals, and special characters, the only place the password is saved is on a Yellow Sticky that gets mounted on the side of the user's monitor! It's even more of a problem when the password changes every "n" days!
It can be even worse if all of the 'password security' features are activated- can't have 2 numerals next to each other. Can't use the a character in the same position it had in the previous password.
Give me a word (yes, a dictionary word) and a number tacked on the back end-- how much -less- secure is that than a 'license plate number' password stuck on the side of the monitor?? Especially when you consider that most systems will disable the profile (and maybe the device) after 3 wrong guesses.
