This CTE effectively re-creates the table I was talking about every time you do the calculation. Perhaps not the best use of resources. On the other hand, you might be able to turn this into an MQT (Materialized Query Table) which you invoke whenever the calendar table changes.

One way to determine the ship date may be:

With x as (Select Row_Number() Over(Order By CalDate) counter, CalDate
From Calendar
Where WrkDay = 'Y')
Select o.*, b.CalDate ShipDate
From x join x b on x.counter + 6 = b.counter
join Order o on OrdDate = x.CalDate

In the CTE a running number over the working days is generated.
This CTE is joined with itself over the counter and the couter + the number
of workdays in future.
The result is joined with the order file.
